The only thing I wouldn't order again is the avgolemono soup - it's a lot of broth and some rice. Not the consistency I would expect. Everything else was good though! ”

But I still HAVE to come here to eat those delicious Gyros, they are worth the price of admission for sure. We've learned how to order and work the menu. “ Been coming here for 20 years as it's close to the house. They do have the best gyros around. The menu is pricey, hence the 4 stars, but believe me I've looked and tried to find cheaper alternatives in the area. I guess you get what you pay for...nothing nearby can compete. The gyro is the only thing I've ever ordered, and it's always very, very good. Great tzatziki sauce, the pita is always hot and fresh and they manage to have red tomatoes in the middle of winter. Meat comes in thick strips and is garlicky and flavorful. The gyro plate is good for two people-it comes with enough for 2 sandwiches and fries. Takes a minute to get food but it's hot when you do. Place looks like your typical Chicago hot dog stand with counter service. They have plenty of tables and gambling if that's your thing. It's clean and the owner is friendly enough Plenty of other items on the menu-dogs, burgers, and greek specialties-but I only come by for gyros which can't be beat....just don't forget your wallet. ”
